Finance Manager – AI-Enabled Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of daily finance operations while ensuring precise and current transaction records.

• Oversee accounts payable, manage supplier invoices, facilitate payment processing, and handle multi-currency supplier transactions.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and address any discrepancies that arise.

• Lead and assist with month-end closing activities, which include reconciliations, adjustments, and supporting documentation.

• Handle accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and billing.

• Review financial documentation to pinpoint discrepancies, gaps, or unexpected transactions.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Provide support for finance administration and reporting tasks.

• Leverage AI and LLM tools to enhance the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of finance-related tasks.

• Identify manual processes that could benefit from AI or automation.

• Experiment with and integrate AI tools into finance workflows.

• Document processes and contribute ideas for process improvement.

• Collaborate with the internal team on finance-related initiatives and process enhancements.

• Gradually assist with purchasing and procurement processes over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, or a comparable finance operations position.

• Extensive hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and month-end close processes.

• Familiarity with an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar platforms.

• Preference for candidates with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, especially regarding supplier payments and multi-currency transactions.

• Strong grasp of accounting principles and finance-related processes.

• Experience managing supplier invoices, payments, reconciliations, and financial records effectively.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

• Ability to investigate discrepancies, identify gaps, and resolve issues efficiently.

• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.

• Genuine enthusiasm for AI, LLMs, and emerging technologies in finance.

• Comfortable with learning and using AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools.

• A mindset focused on process improvement.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical exercise using Claude.
