Finance Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop the strategic plan that propels us towards $100M. Construct the financial roadmap that guides Lumos from our current position to achieving $100M ARR within the next three years.

• Revamp our pricing strategy. Assist in transitioning from a seat-based pricing model to a comprehensive AI-driven tool, with a robust framework for determining charges for agents and AI identities.

• Establish an AI-focused Finance function. Create a high-impact Finance team that leverages AI to accomplish the tasks typically handled by a much larger team.

• Implement an operational cadence. Maintain an efficient Finance operation that the organization relies on, characterized by accurate data, prudent spending, and strong banking and compliance practices.

• Forge cross-functional collaboration at the executive level. Serve as the financial advisor alongside the Head of Sales, Head of Engineering, COO, and CEO, enhancing the effectiveness of every leader.

• Manage investor relations and capital strategy. Take charge of board meetings, investor communications, and banking relationships, ensuring we are always prepared for the next funding round.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have held the position of #2 or #3 in Finance at a company with over $100M in revenue, or served as the Head of Finance at a growth-stage organization. You have successfully closed a significant funding round and developed a capacity model for a sales-led enterprise go-to-market strategy. You understand the distinction between optimization and transformation, and you have led transformative initiatives.

• You are well-versed in AI technologies. You use Claude or a similar tool regularly and can identify three manual tasks you have automated in the past year.

• You have an eye for detail and can spot discrepancies before others do. You feel uneasy when numbers don’t align, yet you also recognize when to step back and allow the operator to make decisions.

• You excel in both minor and major tasks. You have a talent for hiring effectively and find fulfillment in participating in key decisions that shape the company's direction.
