Finance Intern – Technical Accounting, Treasury

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and document technical accounting decisions.

• Assist with quarter-end processes, controls, schedules, and audit records.

• Revise daily cash positioning spreadsheets and dashboards.

• Produce variance analyses, supervise liquidity, and monitor daily cash transactions.

• Aid in cash flow forecasting and transaction inquiries.

• Participate in ad hoc strategic initiatives and process enhancements.

• Work in collaboration with Technical Accounting, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Finance Operations, and other stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an educational program (e.g., college, university, bootcamp).

• Must reside in and possess legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada.

• No work authorization, relocation assistance, sponsorship, or visa transfer will be provided.

• Openness to embracing new challenges and following them through to completion.

• Coursework in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline is advantageous.

• Familiarity with US GAAP, financial reporting, or technical accounting research is a plus.

• Interest in treasury, cash management, insurance, or financial risk is a plus.

• Experience with AI tools and a willingness to learn new systems is a plus.

• Background in creating process documentation or working with dashboards is a plus.

• Intermediate skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including data organization and formula usage, are a plus.

• Successful candidates must undergo a background check.
