Finance Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Internal Financial Operations: Support daily corporate accounts payable and accounting functions by managing workflows, vendor records, and conducting internal reconciliations, aligning with our mission.

• SaaS Metric Tracking: Assist the team in monitoring and organizing crucial SaaS growth metrics (such as ARR, MRR, customer churn, and net revenue retention) for executive dashboards.

• Expense Management Support: Aid in processing employee expense reports, maintain corporate spending logs, and ensure accuracy by cross-referencing purchasing documentation.

• Month-End Close Support: Collaborate with internal accountants during the month-end closing activities, helping with bank ledger updates, data validation, and journal entry preparation.

• Platform & Tool Testing: Acquire in-depth product knowledge by engaging with modern ERP integrations (such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks) and observing the mapping of financial data across systems.

• Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist in researching market trends, organizing data for financial audits, and contributing to special strategic initiatives for the corporate operations team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

• Spreadsheet Fluency: Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with familiarity in using formulas such as VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables.

• Tech-Curious Mindset: A keen interest in AI, automation, and B2B SaaS. Experience with standard accounting software or a willingness to learn cloud ERPs is highly advantageous.

• Meticulous Eye for Detail: Attention to detail is critical in finance. You take pride in your accuracy and can detect errors before they become issues.

• Strong Communicator: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in fully remote or hybrid team environments.
