Finance Integrations Engineer

Posted May 6

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the integration process between Nivoda's platform and NetSuite — including design, construction, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

• Identify and resolve current issues with the NetSuite integration, ensuring precision and dependability throughout the financial pipeline.

• Develop automated data workflows that facilitate the exchange of financial information between Nivoda's platform and NetSuite, thereby eliminating manual interventions.

• Work closely with the Finance team and key stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into effective engineering solutions.

• Design and implement systems for monitoring, alerting, and testing to proactively identify integration failures before they disrupt business operations.

• Operate within Nivoda's established tech stack (Node.js, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines) to provide scalable and maintainable solutions.

• Take the initiative to engage with stakeholders when clarification is needed; you actively seek out answers instead of waiting for them.

• Manage the integration roadmap, collaborating with Product and Engineering Managers to balance data accuracy with the coverage of new product flows and attributes.

• Contribute to best engineering practices, including code reviews, documentation, and enhancing team standards.

• Serve as the primary resource for any matters at the crossroads of financial systems and Nivoda's platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in backend engineering: you are fundamentally a software engineer, experienced in object-oriented programming (Node.js preferred).

• Practical experience with NetSuite integration; you are familiar with NetSuite APIs, understand data flow, and can navigate the platform with ease.

• Solid grasp of accounting and finance principles: while you don't need to be a CFO, you should comprehend how financial data operates and the importance of accuracy.

• Experience in building and maintaining integrations utilizing AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven history of managing integrations from start to finish: you monitor, test, and rectify your work independently.

• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders: you are adept at reaching out proactively and simplifying complex technical concepts for non-engineers.

• Located in Europe, preferably in the UK, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, or Stockholm.

🏝️ Benefits

• Flexible working hours and a dynamic company culture.

• Option for remote work.

• Private health insurance coverage.

• Opportunities for professional growth and learning.

• Flexible compensation card for meals, transport, and childcare.

• Unlimited holiday allowance.

• Opportunity to join during our rapid expansion phase.
