This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the Quarterly Strategic Review (QSR) forecasting process, ensuring that forecast accuracy remains within +/-5%.
• Deliver financial and management reporting along with analysis of the Business Unit's performance, emphasizing key operating ratios and ensuring that commentaries are both concise and insightful.
• Present the findings as necessary.
• Identify challenges and suggest opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency.
• Oversee the execution of improvement plans that arise.
• Collaborate closely with all functional leaders to ensure that project bids and contract terms—financial or otherwise—comply with corporate policies.
• Manage all legal activities both internally and in conjunction with group legal.
• Guarantee the accurate and timely submission of all monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports as required by Lumine.
• Supervise financial operations, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, treasury, financial statement closure, and related controls, ensuring compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory standards.
• Implement process and system enhancements to facilitate the timely and precise closure of financial statements.
• Address inquiries from both internal and external audits.
• Lead and nurture the Finance team, promoting a culture of learning, trust, and self-improvement.
• Propel succession planning and talent management initiatives.
• Participate in management meetings, annual events, and other activities as directed by the Business Unit Leader.
• Perform any additional duties as required.
• Possess an Accounting Qualification (CPA).
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, specifically IFRS 15/ASC606.
• Hands-on approach; comfortable with preparing and reviewing reconciliations, posting journals, and creating working papers.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential; experience with NetSuite, SAP BPC, Blackline, Salesforce, and Cloudcoach (project tracking) is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and maintain high levels of organization without needing follow-up.
• Proficient in creating and delivering presentations focused on performance.
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy is imperative.
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably with Big 4 experience.
• Experience in the software and/or telecommunications industry is advantageous.
• Familiarity with multiple entities, countries, and currencies is a benefit.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
