Finance Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead the formulation and implementation of the financial strategy.

• Offer strategic insights and challenge the leadership team to facilitate informed, data-driven decision-making.

• Supervise financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across multi-site, multi-client operations.

• Ensure robust financial governance, internal controls, and adherence to accounting standards and processes.

• Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditures while reporting to the UK Group.

• Analyze trading performance to uncover opportunities for revenue and margin enhancement.

• Assist in developing pricing strategies, optimizing yield, and engineering menus for hospitality services.

• Collaborate with operational leaders to promote cost control, labor planning, procurement efficiency, and inventory management.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the sector MD and sector leadership, delivering clear and actionable financial insights.

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the finance team, promoting capability, accountability, and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience in contract catering.

• Strong knowledge of cost control, labor management, and food & beverage profitability.

• An influential communicator and presenter who is commercially savvy, analytical, pragmatic, and effective under pressure.

• Exhibits high integrity, a strong governance mindset, and a dedication to delivering exceptional service while closely collaborating with operational teams.
