This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee financial and administrative operations across approximately 15 skilled nursing facilities.
• Handle patient billing, manage insurance processes, collect payments, and follow up with families.
• Collaborate with families, internal teams, insurance companies, Social Security, Medicaid, and other external organizations.
• Juggle multiple active cases and projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion.
• Conduct research, investigate, and independently resolve intricate financial and administrative challenges.
• Monitor outstanding issues and proactively drive them to resolution.
• Guarantee that documentation is precise, complete, and compliant, recognizing that even small mistakes can lead to significant financial or regulatory consequences.
• Provide regular updates on progress and escalate issues as necessary.
• Support operational enhancements and assist broader finance and administrative initiatives as the department expands.
• Prior experience in healthcare administration, medical reception, patient coordination, project coordination, or a comparable administrative position.
• Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
• Proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and administrative coordination skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish professional relationships.
• Tech-savvy and confident in learning and utilizing various healthcare and business systems.
• Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to take ownership and see tasks through to completion.
• Experience in healthcare, social care, medical billing, insurance, finance, or patient administration is a plus.
• Fluent in English with a clear, neutral accent.
• Ability to work comfortably during U.S. hours.
