Finance Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and implement essential accounting and controlling processes, including month-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting.

• Work closely with the VP of Accounting & Controlling, offering practical support across daily operations and significant initiatives.

• Serve as a trusted right-hand in maintaining continuity, accuracy, and consistency in all accounting activities.

• Assume full responsibility for specific processes, minimizing dependency risks and enhancing operational resilience.

• Assist in preparing for and executing audits, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Contribute to the enhancement and documentation of financial processes, controls, and workflows.

• Spot and implement opportunities to streamline, automate, and expand accounting operations.

• Work collaboratively with FP&A, Legal, and other departments to ensure alignment and clarity.

• Step in as necessary to support the broader accounting and controlling agenda.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in accounting, controlling, or auditing within a dynamic technology setting.

• Strong grasp of accounting principles (IFRS preferred).

• Proven track record with month-end closing processes and financial reporting.

• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Comfort in a fast-paced, changing environment.

• Keen attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.

• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate across various functions.
