Finance Consultant – Accounting, Reporting, Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide expert advice to clients in the finance sector, particularly in controlling, accounting, and group controlling, focusing on the implementation, enhancement, and automation of financial reporting.

• Conduct thorough analyses of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; establish connections between profit, loss, and cash flow, and communicate these findings effectively to clients.

• Assist clients from various industries in leveraging the Financial Management Suite.

• Methodically pinpoint sources of errors, evaluate data flows, and either reconcile or restore them as needed.

• Independently create innovative financial reporting solutions, develop dashboards, and utilize tools like Excel and Power BI to illustrate intricate financial relationships.

• Engage deeply with system logic and tools, comprehend the foundational data, and apply this understanding to create accurate and sustainable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in the finance field, including areas such as accounting, controlling, tax advisory, or group/consolidated reporting.

• Strong grasp of business fundamentals and the interconnections between the balance sheet, income statement (P&L), and cash flow.

• Proficiency with Power BI or a keen interest in reporting tools, with the ability to visualize complex financial relationships through dashboards and reports.

• Excellent communication skills and a confident, authentic demeanor, capable of articulating complex topics clearly.

• A proactive attitude, willingness to take responsibility, and the drive to work independently while growing alongside the team.

• Comfortable operating in an agile, low-bureaucracy setting with a significant degree of autonomy.
