This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Serve as a reliable finance partner to the divisional General Manager and leadership team, offering support and constructive challenges to facilitate strong commercial outcomes.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and insights for senior leaders and board-level executives, aiding in the formulation of strategic decisions.
• Lead the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes to enhance predictability and manage the business towards established targets.
• Utilize financial data to pinpoint trends, risks, and growth opportunities, translating this information into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders without finance backgrounds.
• Supervise financial governance, encompassing cash flow, working capital, risk management, and adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist in strategic initiatives such as business case development, acquisitions, and integration activities, while fostering continuous improvement within finance processes.
• Extensive experience as a senior Finance Business Partner, serving as a trusted advisor to executive-level, non-finance leaders.
• A recognized accounting qualification, such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or MBA, along with strong experience in financial stewardship and control.
• A commercial mindset with a proven track record of influencing strategy, enhancing performance, and driving growth.
• Proficient financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis skills, with experience in constructing and evaluating business cases.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex financial topics for practical understanding.
• Experience in a software or subscription-based business, including familiarity with revenue growth, pricing strategies, and recurring revenue models. (preferred)
• Background in mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, integration, and post-deal performance tracking. (preferred)
• Experience in a private equity-backed, high-growth environment. (preferred)
• Ability to collaborate effectively across virtual and matrixed teams in multiple locations. (preferred)
