Finance Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the monthly closing process for various assigned entities, which includes standard reconciliations of financial statements.

• Deliver insightful analysis for both subsidiary and corporate-level financial reports.

• Evaluate payroll modifications compiled by our financial operations team across multiple entities.

• Assist the Finance team with various initiatives, such as enhancing our ERP system and launching new service lines.

• Spot opportunities for process enhancements and execute changes to boost efficiency, streamline workflows and controls, while continuously seeking automation opportunities.

• Maintain a thorough overview and documentation of accounting discrepancies between US GAAP corporate reporting and local statutory accounting standards.

• Aid in the preparation of US GAAP and statutory financial reports, while tracking and documenting bridging adjustments in partnership with local service providers.

• Support the preparation of statutory financial reports, tax filings, and other compliance documents in collaboration with local service providers.

• Collaborate with other Finance team members during financial statement audits by providing clear reconciliation schedules from US GAAP trial balances to audited local statutory records.

• Manage monthly intercompany accounting processes, ensuring that cross-border transactions, recharges, and balances are perfectly aligned across assigned international entities.

• Conduct routine intercompany balance sheet reconciliations, identifying variances and working with global finance colleagues to resolve discrepancies before ledger closure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential.

• Qualified Accountant/Part-Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA).

• At least 3 years of progressive accounting experience – experience in a publicly traded company is preferred.

• Experience in a multinational setting, including multi-currency translations and consolidations.

• Payroll experience across multiple countries is an advantage.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Experience with Workday is an advantage.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to exhibit good interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Capacity to manage a high volume of time-sensitive data.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
