This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Executing month-end closing tasks within set deadlines, including cash entries, bank reconciliations, prepayments & accruals, payroll journal entries, depreciation & amortization journals, and additional ad-hoc journal entries for multiple assigned entities worldwide.
• Ensuring that all financial transactions adhere to company policies and comply with accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP or Local GAAP).
• Assisting in the timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Conducting regular reconciliations and analyses of balance sheet accounts.
• Maintaining precise supporting working papers for assigned ledger accounts.
• Standardizing and optimizing team processes to ensure scalability within the organization.
• Assisting in the integration of new entities/countries into our team’s scope; collaborating with internal regional accounting, treasury, accounts payable, and cash collections teams to understand country-specific dynamics and facilitate smooth process integration into the GL team.
• Supporting other members of the wider Finance team on various projects, including the implementation of ERP systems, financial statement audits, transfer pricing calculations, payroll reconciliations, and process enhancements as needed.
• Identifying automation opportunities and implementing changes to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows and internal controls, while continuously seeking avenues for process improvements within the GL accounting team.
• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA).
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in progressive accounting; experience with publicly traded companies is preferred.
• Experience in a multinational environment, including multi-currency translations and consolidations.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Payroll experience across multiple countries is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to manage a high volume of time-sensitive materials.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience in collaborating with remote colleagues and globally distributed teams.
