Finance Assistant, Mandarin Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Generate comprehensive invoices for Platform Services clients, ensuring all supporting documentation aligns with the agreed contractual terms.

• Extract billing and cost information from various systems and teams (Outbound, Operations, Warehouse) weekly and compile it into a coherent, organized format.

• Review each billing file and invoice for formula accuracy, internal consistency, and compliance with the contract prior to progression, including a final review for any discrepancies.

• Submit billing files and invoices for internal validation, followed by issuing the approved invoices directly to clients.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders regarding invoice calculations, inquiries, and contract stipulations. Work closely with Platform Services account managers to investigate and resolve customer billing issues. Communicate directly with Chinese-speaking customer contacts in Mandarin to clarify billing aspects and address concerns.

• Exceptionally intelligent, meticulous, and detail-oriented, comfortable serving as the final verification before financial transactions occur. Able to meet strict, non-negotiable deadlines.

• Confident in engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

• Proven experience handling large volumes of data from multiple sources. Familiarity with creating invoices or other financial documents for customers. Understanding of profit and loss statements and the relationship of billing to these statements.

• Highly skilled in MS Excel (including formulas, lookups, and managing large datasets).

• Fluent in both English and Mandarin, both spoken and written, to a professional standard. Must be available to work UK hours (8:15–17:15).
