This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership and actively oversee the finance inbox, ensuring prompt responses and effective coordination.
• Lead the accounts payable process for external creators, freelancers, and suppliers.
• Conduct account reconciliations and uphold precise financial records.
• Assist with month-end activities and provide reporting across various business functions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis as needed.
• Continuously enhance finance processes to boost accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage the onboarding experience for new colleagues joining Aperture.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates to support the agency's ongoing growth.
• Conduct initial interviews and evaluate candidates based on role requirements and cultural fit.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to create clear job descriptions and keep active vacancies updated within the ATS.
• Contribute to broader people initiatives in collaboration with the Finance & Operations Director, focusing on employee engagement, performance processes, and organizational development.
• Ensure HR processes are executed accurately and in accordance with relevant policies and legislation.
• Promote the adoption and continuous improvement of systems and tools utilized across the agency, including project management, finance, and HR.
• Work closely with business leaders to enhance workflows and increase operational efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and high standards.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve the employee experience.
• Maintain a proactive approach to resolving issues and supporting the day-to-day requirements of the business.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in operations, finance, HR, or business support roles.
• Experience in an agency environment is a plus.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven setting.
• Strong track record of establishing robust relationships across teams and functions.
• Commercially savvy with a solid grasp of financial principles.
• Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment compliance.
• Experience in managing multiple priorities, projects, and initiatives simultaneously.
• Proficient in working with systems and eager to learn new technologies.
