This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing the financial operations of the organization.
• Deliver thorough travel coordination and administrative support services for staff and the organization.
• Responsible for providing administrative assistance to the finance team.
• Arrange flights, accommodations, and transportation for permanent employees and contractors.
• Help coordinate bookings and arrangements for conferences, meetings, company events, and functions.
• Process Accounts Receivable invoices and statements using company systems.
• Review and authorize weekly payments through company systems.
• Reconcile monthly expenses by comparing bank statements to Purchase Orders using company financial systems.
• Complete the month-end closing process, including adjustments and journal entries.
• Prepare and store month-end management reports on company drives.
• A Bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• At least three years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (QBO) is required.
• Strong computer skills and word processing abilities (Microsoft Office, Acrobat, QuickBooks [QBO], Costpoint) along with intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge are essential.
• Proficient command of the English language with good grammar skills.
