Finance Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of daily accounting operations for multiple companies within the OneQrew Group.

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.

• Oversee payment transactions and collections.

• Assist and actively participate in monthly and annual financial closings in compliance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).

• Prepare and file monthly reports, including advance VAT returns and recapitulative statements (EC Sales Lists).

• Reconcile accounts, especially in intercompany and fixed asset accounting.

• Serve as a liaison for tax advisors and auditors.

• Aid in the enhancement and automation of accounting procedures.

• Support the continuous development of efficient, group-wide financial standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed commercial training, preferably as a tax clerk, or further education in finance and accounting.

• Several years of relevant experience in accounting, ideally at least five years.

• Strong practical expertise in preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and tax regulations.

• Ideally, experience in managing multiple companies or more complex accounting frameworks.

• Proficient in DATEV.

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Independent, organized, and process-driven approach to work.

• High level of accuracy, reliability, and initiative.

• Strong collaboration skills and a passion for teamwork in a remote environment.

• Proficient in German language.

• English language skills are an advantage.
