β’ Offers patient relations support to Patient Financial Services
β’ Identifies, analyzes, addresses, and responds to customer inquiries, concerns, and issues
β’ Follows up on accounts to ensure payment and resolution
β’ Works autonomously and possesses strong customer service skills
β’ Quickly deescalates issues to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
β’ Understands, interprets, and explains payor contracts and CSMC billing and collections policies and practices
β’ High School Diploma/GED is required. An Associate degree in business administration or a related field, or college-level courses in finance, business, or health insurance is preferred.
β’ At least 1 year of experience in hospital billing or professional billing and/or collections, along with customer service and call center experience, is required.
