This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide outstanding customer service while actively seeking solutions that adhere to compliance and legal standards.
• Engage with customers and agents through various communication channels (phone, chats, emails) while efficiently navigating multiple systems and platforms.
• Address and respond to inquiries concerning insurance-related matters.
• Collaborate with customers, agents, and others to resolve moderately complex issues regarding policy terms and conditions.
• Assess and interpret policy information within designated authority limits.
• Access account details and communicate effectively while operating across multiple systems.
• Utilize account information, extensive product knowledge, and understanding of compliance or legal requirements to make suitable recommendations or decisions.
• Thoroughly document customer interactions and outcomes within the system.
• Escalate unresolved issues that necessitate advanced support for further resolution.
• Enhance knowledge and skills through self-directed learning.
• Remain updated on underwriting and policy guidelines as well as other changes including compliance and legal requirements.
• Assist in maintaining department knowledge resources to ensure they are up-to-date.
• Actively listen to customer concerns to recognize trends or patterns.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with various departments such as Policy Support, Claims, and Underwriting to address customer inquiries.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• An active Producer/Agent Property & Casualty (P&C) license is necessary for this position.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of customer service experience is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a call center environment or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in providing customer support within a high-volume, complex setting is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude: Intermediate computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues such as headset, internet, and connectivity.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of tools is preferred.
