This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Take ownership and lead new business development initiatives within the designated region.
• Build, nurture, and enhance impactful relationships with C-Suite executives and key decision-makers.
• Responsible for driving product conversions throughout the region.
• Regularly assess National Sales performance in the assigned territory.
• Support Area Leadership in performance management, coaching, and talent development efforts.
• Execute the company's established sales process effectively.
• Utilize subject matter expertise related to customer and GPO contracts.
• At least 10 years of experience within a sales organization.
• Experience in the food-service industry or a related field.
• Proven executive presence.
• Capability to assess and provide constructive feedback/coaching to the sales team.
• Demonstrated skills in consultative selling.
• Ability to comprehend and implement market intelligence in sales strategies.
• High level of financial and business insight.
• Proven professionalism, reliability, collaboration, and influencing abilities.
• Proficient in utilizing technology and analytical tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases).
• Knowledge of the restaurant industry and buying groups.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
