This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Install, maintain, and service poles, solar panels, batteries, and camera systems at a variety of customer locations.
• Install poles of different lengths according to specifications, ensuring minimal digging for post holes.
• Mount solar panels and external batteries; install and align LPR cameras utilizing PTZ technology.
• Conduct both installations and maintenance, with approximately equal distribution between the two (50/50 split).
• Operate on public and private roadways, often working on equipment positioned 10–12 feet high.
• Utilize ladders and bucket trucks to safely perform tasks at heights of up to 30 feet.
• Employ power and hand tools; repair minor damages in underground irrigation or private wiring systems.
• Drive company vehicles and tow small trailers; support DFR (Drone as First Responder) teams and mobile security trailers.
• Meet with clients to conduct site surveys and discuss potential installation options.
• Interpret traffic control plans and permit drawings to determine compliant installation sites.
• Monitor inventory, receive shipments, and upload installation photos and updates through the Flock Field mobile app.
• Execute all tasks in a safe, professional, and compliant manner.
• Adapt to changing schedules, often with a notice period of 2–3 days.
• Must be comfortable with physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and working outdoors.
• Preferred experience in construction, electrical, low-voltage wiring, or similar hands-on positions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment are essential.
• Ability to work independently across diverse job types and environments.
• Must be comfortable driving vans and trucks, as well as towing small trailers (must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license).
• Basic computer and mobile app proficiency; willingness to learn new technologies.
• Must be flexible, reliable, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
