Field Technician I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with vessel crews and port agents to arrange for attendance schedules.

• Perform sampling and transport the gathered samples to the laboratory for analysis.

• Ensure strict compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to uphold sample integrity.

• Mitigate contamination risks and guarantee accurate results.

• Operate safely in port and industrial settings while adhering to all pertinent safety protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline (e.g., chemistry, microbiology, environmental science), or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Capability to safely lift up to 40 pounds.

• Fundamental understanding of good laboratory practices (GLP).

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
