Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute hardware installation projects and associated technical tasks in accordance with work orders, project specifications, technical guidelines, and company standards.

• Install, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot, and remove equipment as needed.

• Conduct onsite installation, calibration, testing, repair, maintenance, and system verification.

• Interpret and utilize technical documentation, schematics, diagrams, manuals, and installation instructions.

• Identify equipment malfunctions and installation obstacles; take corrective measures or escalate issues as necessary.

• Collaborate with onsite personnel, project teams, customers, contractors, and internal departments.

• Engage in project planning, safety, operational, team, and training meetings.

• Complete service documentation, installation records, reports, expense submissions, and travel management tasks.

• Ensure that tools, equipment, materials, and resources are accessible, functional, and well-maintained.

• Adhere to company procedures, customer requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.

• Report any non-standard conditions, safety issues, delays, equipment problems, and project risks to management.

• Maintain a tidy, safe, and organized workspace.

• Meet project timelines, deadlines, travel obligations, and assigned responsibilities.

• Travel to customer and project locations to assist with installation, maintenance, and service operations.

• Perform additional related duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience as a Field Service Technician.

• A minimum of 3 years in a Field Technician role or similar position involving the installation and maintenance of multidisciplinary products (hardware and software).

• Proficiency in using power and hand tools, including voltmeters and cable testers.

• Strong professional written and verbal English communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing).

• Willingness and authorization to travel frequently within and outside the state.
