Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer warehouse locations to conduct onsite mapping.

• Navigate extensive warehouse spaces to gather details regarding racking, aisles, storage areas, and pertinent infrastructure.

• Utilize Corvus's specialized mapping and editing tools to create and update warehouse layouts.

• Collect measurements, photographs, and other site-related information.

• Conduct quality assurance checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of maps.

• Identify and record discrepancies or site conditions that may affect robot operations.

• Collaborate closely with Deployment teams to relay mapping insights and address any issues.

• Adhere to established mapping protocols while enhancing work quality and efficiency.

• Represent Corvus in a professional manner while engaging with customer teams on site.

• Willingness and capacity to travel regularly to customer sites.

• Comfort in spending extended periods walking and working within large warehouse environments.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to accurately adhere to technical guidelines.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks effectively on site.

• Basic computer and technical proficiency.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Quick learner with the capacity to adapt to new software tools.

• Comfortable working in active warehouse settings, including around forklifts and other industrial machinery.

• Dependable, organized, and safety-oriented.

• Valid US driver's license and the legal ability to drive in the US.

• Prior experience in warehouse operations, field service, surveying, mapping, construction, or a similar hands-on role is advantageous but not mandatory.
