This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
• Foster customer satisfaction by cultivating significant relationships with customers and mill staff.
• This role serves as the link between sales, manufacturing, and our clientele.
• Represent all of Twin Rivers' paper sectors including publishing, label, packaging, and technical.
• Gather, assess, and define field issues while facilitating both internal and external resolutions.
• Comprehend the paper-making and finishing processes to effectively describe issues and address customer concerns.
• Engage in new product and improvement trials at end-user locations to deliver valuable and timely feedback to the mills.
• Occasionally visit warehouses and contracted converters to ensure they represent Twin Rivers and our products professionally.
• Create reports to communicate and establish a database of customer insights and knowledge.
• Offer technical support to the paper mills, ensuring compliance with all relevant quality standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in paper manufacturing and/or converting with a robust understanding of paper production.
• Willingness to travel frequently (50% - 75%) to engage with customers and mills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and analytical software (e.g., MiniTab, P1 Process Book, Proficy).
• Capable of learning Manufacturing Execution Software (e.g., ELIXIR/OptiVision).
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Excellent written presentation skills with the capacity to communicate effectively across the Twin Rivers organization, customers, and suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with effective problem-solving skills.
