This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Act as the company's representative at customer sites, adhering to the highest levels of professional conduct.
β’ Assist in the go-live process for new EV charging locations by coordinating on-site activities and alerting the Commissioning Engineer about any risks or delays.
β’ Perform inspections on new vehicles, ensuring they are ready for service and documenting findings before site activation.
β’ Aid technicians with asset inspections, diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, and repairing customer assets as required on-site.
β’ Adhere to established safety protocols to ensure compliance with both company and regulatory standards.
β’ Keep thorough, accurate, and timely records for commissioning activities, inspections, and completed tasks using the company's asset management and project tracking systems.
β’ Assist in High Voltage (HV) charger operations, which includes conducting plug cycles and addressing service requirements during commissioning.
β’ Carry out Low Voltage (LV) battery replacements and jump-starts as needed.
β’ Ensure tools, equipment, and the work environment are well-maintained and orderly.
β’ Cultivate and uphold strong customer service skills throughout the go-live phase.
β’ Engage in training programs and practical learning experiences to enhance technical and project coordination skills.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail along with a commitment to maintaining accurate and organized documentation.
β’ Proven time-management abilities, a strong work ethic, and dedication to ongoing process improvement.
β’ Competency in using computers and standard software, including documentation tools, spreadsheets, and asset/project management platforms.
β’ Automotive Technology certification from an accredited institution is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Eagerness to develop project management and coordination skills; prior experience is advantageous.
β’ Basic knowledge of electrical systems and AC skills.
β’ Capability to read and understand safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
β’ Strong problem-solving aptitude.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong interpersonal abilities.
β’ Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. and working in various weather conditions.
β’ Availability for travel and flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
β’ Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
