This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Installs, repairs, upgrades, and conducts preventative maintenance on designated Carl Zeiss Meditec instrumentation.
• Acts as a representative of Carl Zeiss Meditec at client locations, striving to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Accountable for all company-issued properties in accordance with corporate policies.
• Maintains a high standard of professional communication with team members, customers, management, Sales, and Technical Support.
• Coordinates and implements technical solutions ranging from basic to complex.
• May provide training to customers on the routine operation of assigned products.
• Contributes to the creation of standard machine/system documentation.
• Liaises with customers to schedule and manage assigned service activities.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in Electronics, Fine Mechanics, Optics, or Medical Field Service.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or Computer Technology and related fields is preferred.
• A+ and Net+ certifications are preferred.
• Ability to analyze challenging customer issues and deliver satisfactory solutions.
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal management oversight.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Robust computer skills are required.
• Must be able to complete necessary training to service fine mechanics and optics.
• Capability to effectively service the equipment for which training has been completed.
• Proficient in managing multiple projects and time effectively.
