This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Design, service, maintain, and troubleshoot PMS (Power Management Systems) including PLC, SCADA, HMI, PME, and networks at various client locations.
• Provide on-site technical assistance, swiftly diagnosing faults and resolving hardware/software problems.
• Aid in the installation and commissioning of PMS systems, which includes testing and ensuring proper functionality.
• Conduct customer training sessions and cultivate strong client relationships through exceptional service.
• Create comprehensive service documentation and communicate activities back to internal teams.
• Participate in an emergency call-out rotation (approximately once every 8 weeks) and address urgent issues as they arise.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company protocols during all field operations.
• Occasionally travel throughout the UK and Europe in a field-based engineering capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree, HNC, ONC, or a related qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in servicing and maintaining power management systems, including PLC, SCADA, PME, and networks.
• Demonstrated success in a similar field-based engineering role with a robust understanding of power management systems, encompassing both hardware and software components.
• Skilled in utilizing diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting PLC, SCADA, PME, and network systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations regarding power management.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work independently and effectively manage time.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to operate field service vehicles.
