This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
β’ Provide coverage at various client locations during the absence or openings of Processors and Phlebotomists.
β’ Welcome and identify patients in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
β’ Gather billing and testing details following SOP protocols.
β’ Collect urine and oral fluid specimens for drug testing purposes.
β’ Conduct blood collections utilizing venipuncture and capillary techniques.
β’ Accurately and promptly enter patient information.
β’ Package and prepare specimens for transportation to the testing facility.
β’ Carry out customer service responsibilities, including handling phone inquiries and engaging with patients.
β’ Collect patient payments in accordance with SOP.
β’ Comply with HIPAA and DrugScan compliance policies.
β’ Adhere to safety regulations, sample-handling protocols, workstation cleanliness standards, and personal protective equipment (PPE) procedures.
β’ Maintain supplies at the workstation.
β’ Travel across multiple states up to 90% of the time.
β’ Execute other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
β’ Minimum of 2 years of experience in phlebotomy.
β’ Completion of a Phlebotomy Program.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
β’ Proficient in performing venipuncture and capillary blood collections.
β’ Capable of collecting urine and oral fluid specimens for drug testing.
β’ Ability to adhere to SOPs, HIPAA regulations, and DrugScan compliance policies.
β’ Skilled in performing accurate and timely data entry.
β’ Must meet the physical demands of medium work, which includes frequent walking, standing, or squatting and the ability to handle weights up to 50 pounds.
β’ Preferred 1 year of customer service experience.
