• Carry out all Level I installer duties and responsibilities by adhering to our thorough documentation to maintain the highest installation and service standards.
• Exhibit exceptional organizational abilities in managing project and service tickets, ensuring efficient communication and timely updates in accordance with assignments.
• Demonstrate a strong grasp of project scopes and service expectations, taking full ownership of assigned tasks and consistently achieving excellent results.
• Take on leadership roles by delegating tasks within the team's capabilities, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes growth and productivity.
• While leading a team, mentor Level 1 installers, upholding high standards and actively seeking their input for continual improvement.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers as necessary, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Show expertise in working with nurse call systems, card access systems, and video surveillance products, contributing to the successful execution of various projects.
• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, especially in leadership and communication skills, to enhance contributions to the team.
• Effectively conduct Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) of products prior to installation, ensuring that all systems meet the highest quality and performance standards.
• Demonstrate skill in system configuration and the successful commissioning of systems, providing clients with dependable and fully operational solutions.
• Embrace the adaptability of the role by willingly accepting additional job responsibilities that may arise during our business operations, further enriching this job description.
• A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high and/or low voltage).
• Practical field experience from past work roles.
• Basic understanding of telecommunications (TCP/IP, general networking, computers, VoIP, etc.).
• Ability to identify and work with common low voltage cabling.
• Possesses and maintains a solid understanding of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
• Capability to read architectural drawings.
• Experience in team management or supervision.
• Previous experience in completing projects within defined scopes.
• Familiarity with service ticketing processes.
• Prior knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, and emergency nurse call systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid US Driver’s license is required.
