This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Carry out all Level I installer duties and responsibilities, adhering to our detailed documentation to maintain the highest standards of installation and service.
• Show outstanding organizational abilities in managing project and service tickets, ensuring efficient interactions and timely updates in accordance with assignments.
• Possess a thorough understanding of project scopes and service expectations, taking full responsibility for tasks assigned and consistently achieving excellent results.
• Take on leadership roles by distributing tasks within the team’s capabilities, promoting a collaborative environment that fosters growth and productivity.
• When in a leadership position, mentor Level 1 installers, uphold high standards, and actively seek their input for ongoing improvement.
• Create and sustain effective communication channels with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and clients as necessary, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Demonstrate expertise in working with nurse call systems, card access systems, and video surveillance products, aiding in the successful implementation of various projects.
• Pursue continuous professional development opportunities, focusing on leadership and communication skills to enhance contributions to the team.
• Competently conduct Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) of products prior to installation, ensuring all systems meet the highest quality and performance benchmarks.
• Display proficiency in system configuration and successful commissioning of systems, delivering reliable and fully operational solutions to clients.
• Embrace the flexibility of the role by readily accepting additional job responsibilities that may arise during business operations, further enriching the scope of this position.
• At least 2 years of experience in a prior construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (both high and/or low voltage).
• Hands-on field experience from previous positions.
• Basic understanding of telecommunications (TCP/IP, general networking, computers, VoIP, etc.).
• Ability to identify and utilize common low voltage cabling.
• Maintains a working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings.
• Experience in team management or supervision.
• Prior experience in completing projects within scope.
• Familiarity with service ticketing processes.
• Any prior knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, and emergency nurse call systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must possess a valid US Driver's license.
