This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Provide support to customers using Amada Lasers, which includes installation, servicing, operational training, networking, programming training, software training, application training, and laser automation training.
• Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, as well as network-related issues.
• Capable of accurately interpreting layout drawings and blueprints for equipment installation.
• Prepare daily status (service) reports and weekly expense reports.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and ensure follow-through on inquiries.
• Oversee the complete equipment installation process at customer locations.
• Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territories and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• A 4-year degree in Electronics or at least a 2-year degree accompanied by relevant work experience is preferred.
• Proficient in analyzing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical, and electrical systems.
• Skilled in utilizing hand tools, Volt/Ohm meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Familiarity with computers and the Windows operating system is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish is considered a non-essential function.
