This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

šŸ“‹ Description

• Deliver expert-level technical assistance to clients, encompassing the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated battery equipment and power systems.

• Identify and troubleshoot complex technical problems, leveraging your extensive knowledge and advanced diagnostic tools.

• Execute preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and performance enhancements to guarantee maximum uptime and reliability.

• Proactively recognize potential issues and apply preventative strategies to avert costly downtime.

• Foster and sustain robust relationships with customers by offering prompt, efficient, and professional service.

• Clearly communicate technical information to clients in an understandable and accessible way.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, offering guidance and recommendations regarding best practices for equipment operation, maintenance, and safety.

• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000 standards.

• Mentor and train junior technicians, sharing your expertise to enhance their skills and development.


ā›³ļø Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, electronics technology).

• Over 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Field Service Technician, showcasing progressive responsibility and technical knowledge in the battery and power systems sector.

• Comprehensive understanding of battery technologies, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, and related systems.

• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities, including the ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Competent in using specialized tools and testing equipment.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Valid driver's license with an unblemished driving record.

• Openness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
