This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
⢠Deliver expert-level technical assistance to clients, encompassing the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated battery equipment and power systems.
⢠Identify and troubleshoot complex technical problems, leveraging your extensive knowledge and advanced diagnostic tools.
⢠Execute preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and performance enhancements to guarantee maximum uptime and reliability.
⢠Proactively recognize potential issues and apply preventative strategies to avert costly downtime.
⢠Foster and sustain robust relationships with customers by offering prompt, efficient, and professional service.
⢠Clearly communicate technical information to clients in an understandable and accessible way.
⢠Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, offering guidance and recommendations regarding best practices for equipment operation, maintenance, and safety.
⢠Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000 standards.
⢠Mentor and train junior technicians, sharing your expertise to enhance their skills and development.
⢠Technical degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, electronics technology).
⢠Over 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Field Service Technician, showcasing progressive responsibility and technical knowledge in the battery and power systems sector.
⢠Comprehensive understanding of battery technologies, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, and related systems.
⢠Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities, including the ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
⢠Competent in using specialized tools and testing equipment.
⢠Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
⢠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
⢠Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
⢠Valid driver's license with an unblemished driving record.
⢠Openness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
