This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Installs machinery and equipment as needed by the customer to integrate with new or existing production line systems.

• Conducts ring-out, reliable controls calibration, commissioning troubleshooting, and acceptance testing to ensure equipment operates to specifications.

• Independently performs PLC and HMI programming logic or collaborates with Engineering for customer equipment installations, repairs, and general maintenance.

• Knowledge of equipment spans at least four primary categories, enabling effective performance during installations, service calls, or preventive maintenance and audits.

• Exhibits a proficient understanding of key machinery categories, components, control systems, PLC programs, and the overall interactions of Alliance equipment, while capable of executing preventive maintenance and audits.

• Provides training to customer personnel on equipment functions and safety features, which include safe working practices, machine operation, operator interface devices, service requirements, accessibility, spare parts, and utilization of the operations manual.

• Travels independently to customer sites to execute equipment service, installation tasks, and training while demonstrating a thorough grasp of customer service fundamentals.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or G.E.D.

• An associate degree or bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.

• Five (5) to Seven (7) years of experience supervising, installing, and maintaining material handling equipment or other industrial machinery is required.

• Strong background in electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.

• Solid technical knowledge of industrial equipment.

• Excellent understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and layout drawings.

• Proven skills in assembling, servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical machinery, including PLC and HMI automation as well as hydraulic systems.

• Experience with Industrial Sensors (e.g., Photo Eyes, Inductive Sensors), Analog/Digital Positioning (e.g., Encoders and Potentiometers), and Variable Frequency Drives.

• Advanced knowledge of PLCs and machine language, including reading ladder logic, uploading and downloading programs to PLCs and HMIs, monitoring program inputs and outputs, and performing basic programming under Engineering supervision.
