This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Installation, maintenance, and testing of field equipment, adhering to customer or manufacturer specifications and company protocols.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, and control equipment malfunctions, including warranty repairs.
• Employ various diagnostic tools to pinpoint issues and execute necessary repairs, such as replacing defective components, repairing wiring, and troubleshooting software problems.
• Conduct assembly modifications and overall quality defect resolution for all IE products and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with documentation processes for all tasks performed, detailing the nature of the issue, the steps taken to resolve it, and the parts used to create professional service reports.
• Maintain, inspect, and care for IE tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Respond promptly to client calls, emails, and texts, treating them as a critical priority.
• Comply with all safety regulations and procedures while on site.
• Background in Electrical, Mechanical, Commissioning, or Assembly with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including at least three years of field experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant business and contracting experience in a similar role, focusing on supplier agreements with general or subcontractors.
• Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical manuals, purchase orders, and project part specifications.
• Capability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals effectively.
• Skill in presenting information and addressing inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as voltage drop, cable run calculations, square footage, volume, Ohm's law, and battery run time.
• Competence in collaborating with multiple customers, subcontractors, and diverse personalities while fostering strong working relationships.
• Ability to solve practical problems with minimal guidance and manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• To succeed in this role, individuals must possess strong PC skills, with proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Journeyman Electrician, HVAC, or Commissioning Certification or License from any state, or an Electrical Engineering or Technical Degree with relevant field experience.
