This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Commission, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment related to new Data Center Cooling initiatives.
• Analyze work orders, blueprints, schematic diagrams, and associated documents to identify tasks, tools, equipment, and parts necessary for installation or repair.
• Exhibit expertise in managing complex jobs with the aim of reducing the impact on the customer’s building experience while also lessening the financial strain on the company.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address unusual issues in system operation and maintenance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients while upholding a professional appearance and demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; HVAC servicing or related electromechanical experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel approximately 85% of the time to various job sites for commissioning and warranty tasks.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Capability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
• Ability to remain engaged in projects through root cause analysis.
• Outstanding customer service abilities with a commitment to exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
• Capacity to work independently and efficiently, ensuring tasks are completed correctly with external technicians and the ability to follow up on parts delivery.
• Trade/technical school education or certification is a plus.
• Product familiarity with industrial HVAC equipment or comparable electromechanical products is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Intermediate experience with commercial projects.
• Experience in building automation is a plus.
