📋 Description

• Travel on a daily basis to customer locations to conduct troubleshooting, perform hands-on repairs, execute warranty repairs, provide preventative maintenance, and install new equipment.

• Deliver Remote Technical Support to designated Top customers.

• Offer start-up assistance for end-users receiving new machines from an OEM equipped with a Nordson Packaging system.

• Prepare Corrective Action Reports for all Warranty-related issues.

• Facilitate both formal and informal training sessions.

• Accurately complete service reports and service tickets following customer visits in a timely manner.

• Responsible for auditing, documenting, and updating customer installed base line survey information in our database.

• Report any customer complaints regarding equipment performance to the assigned Field Service Supervisor.

• Engage in joint visits with the sales team, Field Service Supervisor, and other internal team members to support sales opportunities or gather customer feedback.

• Promote upselling to customers for aftermarket parts or services (e.g. TrueBlue PM Program).

• Participate in ongoing training about our products.


⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: College degree in a Technical Program.

• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and understanding.

• Comprehensive understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems/components.

• Proficient in reading and comprehending manuals, parts lists, component drawings, dimensional drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.

• Familiarity with using standard tools and equipment (e.g., Multi-Meter).

• Comfortable working with high-temperature, high-pressure, and high-voltage equipment (240VAC – 480VAC).

• Able to work independently on-site with tools to assist customers.

• Proficient in upselling customers on new products and technologies.

• Strong oral and written communication skills that are clear and concise.

• Excellent computer skills: MS Office, Outlook, MS Teams, Concur, SAP, SAP C4C, Concur, etc.
