This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Perform all Level 1 installer duties and responsibilities, adhering to our detailed guidelines to maintain the highest installation and service standards.
• Showcase outstanding organizational abilities in managing project and service tickets, ensuring effective communication and timely updates in accordance with assignments.
• Display a thorough comprehension of project scopes and service expectations, taking full ownership of assigned tasks while consistently achieving exceptional outcomes.
• Take on leadership roles by assigning tasks that align with the team's capabilities, cultivating a cooperative atmosphere that promotes growth and productivity.
• While leading a team, mentor Level 1 installers to uphold high standards and actively seek their input for ongoing improvement.
• Establish and sustain consistent and effective communication with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and clients as necessary to ensure smooth project execution.
• Demonstrate proficiency in working with nurse call systems, card access systems, and video surveillance technologies, contributing to the successful execution of various projects.
• Seek continuous professional development opportunities, particularly in leadership and communication skills, to enhance contributions to the team.
• Expertly conduct Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) of products prior to installation, ensuring all systems meet exceptional quality and performance standards.
• Show expertise in system configuration and successfully commissioning systems, providing clients with dependable and fully operational solutions.
• Welcome the flexibility of the role by readily accepting additional job responsibilities that may arise during business operations, further enriching the scope of this job description.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a previous construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high and/or low voltage).
• Hands-on/field experience from prior employment.
• Basic understanding of telecommunications (TCP/IP, general networking, computers, VoIP, etc.).
• Ability to identify and utilize common low voltage cabling.
• Maintains a working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
• Capability to read architectural drawings.
• Experience in team management or supervisory roles.
• Proven history of completing projects within scope.
• Familiarity with service ticketing processes.
• Any prior knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must possess a valid US Driver’s license.
