• Carry out all Level 1 installer duties and responsibilities by adhering to our detailed documentation to maintain the highest standards of installation and service.
• Exhibit outstanding organizational abilities in managing project and service tickets, ensuring efficient communication and timely updates in accordance with assignments.
• Demonstrate a thorough comprehension of project scopes and service expectations, taking full responsibility for assigned tasks and consistently achieving excellent outcomes.
• Take on leadership roles by assigning tasks within the team's skill set, promoting a collaborative atmosphere that supports growth and productivity.
• While overseeing a team, mentor Level 1 installers to uphold high standards and actively seek their input for ongoing improvement.
• Develop and sustain consistent and effective communication channels with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers as required, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Display expertise in working with nurse call systems, card access systems, and video surveillance products, aiding in the successful execution of various projects.
• Seek continuous professional development opportunities, particularly in leadership and communication skills, to further enhance contributions to the team.
• Competently conduct Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) of products prior to installation, ensuring all systems meet the highest quality and performance standards.
• Show proficiency in system configuration and the successful commissioning of systems, providing clients with dependable and fully operational solutions.
• Embrace the versatility of the role by readily accepting additional duties that may arise during our business operations, thereby enriching the dynamics of this job description.
• At least 2 years of experience in a previous construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (both high and low voltage).
• Hands-on/field experience from prior work history.
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications (TCP/IP, general networking, computers, VoIP, etc.).
• Ability to identify and utilize common low voltage cabling.
• Maintains a working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
• Capability to read architectural drawings.
• Experience in team management or supervision.
• Prior experience completing projects within scope.
• Familiarity with service ticketing processes.
• Any prior knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Must possess a valid US Driver’s license.
