Field Service Technician I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Traveling weekly to deliver installation, maintenance, troubleshooting/repair, and customer training support for all LB Foster friction management lubricators.

• Significant travel to various work sites across North America is necessary on a weekly basis.

• Collaborate with external customers and internal departments to foster product development and enhance relationship-building efforts.

• Capability to work outdoors on railway tracks in diverse weather conditions.

• Responsible for overseeing personal travel expense account.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• 0-2 years of experience in hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical fields is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license and driving record are required.

• E-Railsafe certification is mandatory upon hire.

• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is essential.

• Excellent communication (both verbal and digital) and time management abilities are necessary.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) is advantageous.
