Field Service Technician – Entry Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Assist with preventive maintenance (PMs) on UPS systems, including both minor and major services.

• Aid in inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting equipment.

• Support repairs involving battery replacements, fans, and capacitors.

• Develop skills to read basic diagrams and schematics.

• Accurately complete service reports following each job.

• Assist with equipment start-ups, installations, and project-related work.

• Interact directly with customers and represent QPS in a professional manner.

• Occasionally travel overnight or work outside of regular hours as needed.

• Interest in mechanical or electrical fields (education or practical experience is advantageous, but not mandatory).

• Willingness to learn and accept guidance.

• Strong communication skills coupled with a positive demeanor.

• Ability to remain organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Comfortable working independently as well as in a team setting.

• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel.

• Basic computer proficiency.
