This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Conduct inspections and maintenance tasks on the electrical, mechanical, and structural elements of energy systems, such as Solar PV, EV charging stations, and battery electric storage systems.
• Diagnose and determine the root causes of issues impacting the efficient operation and performance of various hardware assets.
• Access live electrical equipment, revealing energized connections for thorough inspection.
• Address client inquiries regarding the operational performance or functionality of their systems.
• Recognize and escalate concerns to the appropriate level while proposing possible enhancements.
• Execute additional inspection, assessment, and maintenance tasks on clients' energized assets as required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills and a high level of technical aptitude.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an electrical technician position.
• Proficient electrical trade skills and prior experience; capability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• NFPA 70 E Certification is advantageous.
• Capacity to troubleshoot effectively and adapt in a sometimes unstructured setting.
• Proficient in critical thinking and able to resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Skilled in interacting with client representatives, internal stakeholders, and the public in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Computer literacy, including familiarity with Windows programs and Microsoft Office tools.
• Self-driven and capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision.
