This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Fully remote position | Deployment in Münster and surrounding areas
• As a Service Technician / Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d), your role is to ensure that our specialized laboratory and device systems at customer locations in the Münsterland region function reliably at all times.
• You will serve as the primary contact for all technical inquiries, ensuring systems operate stably while minimizing downtime.
• Your role combines technical expertise with direct interaction with customers—both remotely and on-site.
• You will take complete technical responsibility for customers in the greater Münster area, ensuring that systems run reliably and effectively.
• As the main point of contact, you will assist customers in their daily operations and address all technical questions.
• You will independently perform installations and commissioning, bringing new systems online safely.
• You will independently plan and execute maintenance and service calls efficiently.
• In the event of issues, you will systematically investigate root causes and develop long-term solutions—both remotely and on-site.
• You will conduct repairs and troubleshooting in a focused and responsible manner.
• Additionally, you will actively ensure the smooth and continuous operation of the systems.
• You will monitor system conditions consistently, detect anomalies early, and prevent unexpected outages.
• You will derive preventive service actions from system data and implement them accordingly.
• In critical situations, you will provide on-site emergency support, quickly analyze problems, and coordinate next steps with the Service Headquarters.
• You will maintain close communication with the Service Headquarters and report in a structured manner on system status, ongoing issues, and potential escalations.
• For complex matters, you will collaborate closely with internal specialist departments and contribute your expertise actively.
• A completed vocational training qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanics, or a comparable technical qualification serves as your foundation.
• Alternatively, you have gained your expertise through practical experience in technical service or device manufacturing.
• You are confident in providing technical support—ideally, you have experience with remote tools or remote diagnostic systems.
• You are familiar with ticketing systems or remote maintenance tools, or you are quick to learn new tools.
• You enjoy direct customer interaction and present yourself confidently and with a service-oriented approach.
• You maintain composure in challenging situations, respond flexibly, and take responsibility—such as for emergency calls or on-call duties.
• Very good German and proficient English skills are utilized confidently in your daily work.
• Your work style is structured, independent, and solution-oriented.
• You are also a team player, reliable, and proactive.
• You are proficient in MS Office for your daily tasks.
• A Class B driving license completes your profile.
