Field Service Technician, Coffee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical contact for the designated territory, facilitating service-related sales efforts and addressing customer escalations.

• Deliver technical training and refresher courses to distributor partners and field teams regarding equipment capabilities, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Track and enhance critical performance indicators, including first-time fix rate, asset uptime, and service response time.

• Perform site visits for installations, demonstrations, and urgent service matters to guarantee customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

• Work in conjunction with Account Managers and Distributor Managers to pinpoint service deficiencies and enact corrective measures.

• Oversee spare parts inventory, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and safety regulations.

• Assist in the deployment of new equipment and technical initiatives in the field.

• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in technical services, field operations, or service-oriented sales positions.

• Strong knowledge of commercial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting practices.

• Demonstrated capability to work autonomously and manage a territory with minimal oversight.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to persuade without formal authority.

• Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

• Experience in collaborating with distributor networks or within a B2B service context.

• Ability to evaluate service data and convert insights into practical improvements.

• Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
