Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate advanced machinery at client locations.

• Exhibit customer service expertise and knowledge with a profound level of enthusiasm and commitment.

• Showcase your capacity to acquire new skills on high-tech CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) by leveraging mechanical and electronic proficiency.

• Complete necessary administrative documentation accurately and thoroughly.

• Be solutions-driven, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously in a demanding, fast-paced, and innovative setting.

• The role requires 90-100% travel within the service area, including international travel as necessary.

• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification is required.

• Alternatively, a technical school diploma, or an associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Electronics or Industrial Mechanics is acceptable.

• Training and experience from a Military Technical School may also be considered.

• Previous experience using hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment is essential.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft operating system is required.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted.

• Willingness to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, including regular and overtime hours.

• Ability to operate effectively in an industrial production shop floor environment.

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills are essential.

• Preferred qualifications include prior experience with the installation and troubleshooting of industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems.

• Previous experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) installation and troubleshooting is desirable but not mandatory.
