Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate advanced machines at customer locations.

• Exhibit exceptional customer service skills and knowledge with a strong commitment and enthusiasm.

• Showcase your capability to acquire new skills on high-tech CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) through mechanical and electronic aptitude.

• Complete and manage necessary administrative paperwork accurately and thoroughly.

• Be solution-oriented with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and innovative environment.

• Travel requirement is 90-100% within the service area, including international travel as necessary.

• Additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is necessary.

• An AS/BS in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, or equivalent training and experience from a Military Technical School, or 4 years of relevant experience is required.

• Prior experience using hand tools and basic electrical test equipment is essential.

• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems is a requirement.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted.

• Willingness to work a minimum of 50 hours per week is necessary.

• Ability to function in an industrial production shop floor environment is required.

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

• Excellent communication skills and customer service aptitude are essential.

• Preferred qualifications include previous experience in installing and troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems.

• Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) installation and troubleshooting is preferred but not mandatory.
