This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Diagnose, repair, and report on quality and design issues related to Xos vehicles and products.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including design, engineering, software, and external partners.
• Showcase expertise in low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) electrical diagnostics, controls, and module programming.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of basic electrical principles, including the use of various volt-ohm meters.
• Have a strong understanding of commercial truck mechanical systems, with preferred experience in motors and harness systems.
• Provide professional customer support through face-to-face interactions, as well as phone and email communications.
• Complete case notes and repair orders accurately and promptly, and initiate new cases as necessary.
• Exhibit a professional appearance and effective communication skills with customers during on-site and remote interactions.
• Fulfill training objectives and certifications as assigned by management.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Demonstrated proficiency with high and low voltage electrical systems.
• Associate's Degree or Vocational Certificate in an automotive service technology-related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• ASE Certifications are advantageous.
• CDL class A or B is preferred.
• Competence in Google Suite applications.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are essential, as driving is a key function of the role.
• Ability to meet security clearance requirements for employment and comply with all applicable pre-employment conditions, including those mandated by federal or customer-regulated work environments.
• Must be legally eligible for international travel and admissible to Canada for business purposes, and capable of obtaining and maintaining all necessary travel documentation.
• Must be available to travel as business needs dictate (typically 60-80% of the time, including overnight stays), encompassing weekends, holidays, and outside standard business hours. Travel includes frequent cross-border assignments to Canada.
