Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial X-ray inspection systems at client locations.

• Carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.

• Offer on-site, remote, and phone-based technical support to clients.

• Facilitate customer training and conduct system acceptance testing.

• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Accurately complete service reports and technical documentation.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to efficiently resolve technical issues.

• Willingness to travel extensively (80%) within the U.S. and internationally as required by the position.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical/Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or a related field is preferred.

• 2–4 years of practical experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or industrial/automated systems, ideally in the x-ray or NDT sector.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, with a proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment.

• Capability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.

• Basic knowledge of PLC-controlled systems (experience with Siemens is advantageous).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and general computer applications.

• Hands-on, self-motivated problem solver who can work independently in fast-paced field environments.

• Customer-centric team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Dependable, adaptable, and organized, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%, primarily within the U.S. and occasionally internationally.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
