Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Perform cost-effective maintenance on low to intermediate level technology medical equipment at customer locations with minimal supervision, ensuring proper functionality to meet customer needs.

• Accurately and promptly complete all forms and data entry in computer systems to maintain comprehensive documentation for regulatory compliance.

• Engage with clinical staff regarding equipment features, functionalities, and related topics.

• Carry out installations, upgrades, and calibrations with minimal oversight.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability to service the Marysville/Bellefontaine, Ohio area is essential.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

• Certification or vocational training is preferred.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.

• 2-4 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s degree, relevant military experience, or 2 years as a Sigma Apprentice demonstrating the ability to maintain low to intermediate level technology systems and use Sigma's equipment management database.

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and physics is preferred.

• Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) and Adobe is preferred.

• Experience, training, or certification in process improvement is preferred.
