Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Travel to client locations for the installation, commissioning, testing, calibration, and training of customers on the safe and effective use of Digital Completions Solutions (DCS) products.

• Execute field upgrades for both software and hardware.

• Record and communicate field failures, gather customer feedback, and propose improvement suggestions.

• Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and foster strong relationships with on-site client representatives and service provider teams.

• Timely completion and submission of field service documentation.

• Maintain an accurate inventory of equipment on the truck and at client sites.

• Engage in hardware assembly, installation, and R&D testing of DCS products.

• The work schedule consists of 10 consecutive days followed by 4 days off for local technicians.

• Availability to work 12+ hours each day during scheduled periods.

• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

• Proficient verbal and written communication abilities.

• Willingness to be on call as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Successful completion of a national background check and motor vehicle report is required.

• Willingness to be on call and travel as directed by the manager.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Comfortable working at heights.

• Demonstrated knowledge of upstream oil and gas completions operations, equipment, and terminology.

• Capability to lead and support other technicians and colleagues.

• Proficient in troubleshooting issues related to sensors, PLCs, and networking/cabling.

• Background in upstream completions or experience as an Electronics Technician.

• AA Degree and/or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of technical experience is preferred.
